On October 8, 2019, the foundation stone was laid for a new body-in-white hall on the external warehouse of the Daimler AG Bremen plant site. The single-storey hall 4 in the Funkschneise is intended for the production of new model series. Together with the client, this extension by approx. 16,000 sqm to the west will be realised in the partnering model. The hall extension consists of the production of sleeve foundations, clamped prefabricated reinforced concrete columns as well as FT base elements and a steel truss construction, which is formed with a trapezoidal sheet metal roof in the design of a green roof as roof level. Furthermore, a social stage of approx. 1,400 sqm with complete interior fittings as well as the complete technical building equipment will be executed.
